Church, this weekend was amazing. I’m honored to serve as your pastor. You are a multi-generational body unified for the simple purpose of sharing the gospel and making disciples. I can’t wait to start ministering in Bradenton in a few weeks.
Thank you for the way you showed love to my wife and children.
Thank you for your generosity in supporting me.
Thank you for being salt and light in Bradenton for decades.
Thank you for keeping the primary focus on Christ.
Our history is defined by the gospel. Our future is bright because of the gospel. As I preached today, I know you’ll love loud, stand firm, and live joy.

As I watched this process unfold, and as I heard from you and your family, I am convinced God has put you in an incredible church for an incredible future. I am so proud of you, Erin, and those three precious children. You are all a gift to me, and I know you will be to WBBC.

Pastor Sam. Or should I say, Dude? What a true joy it was for our church family to welcome a new member. I truly believe God has positioned us and you to become even a brighter light in Bradenton and beyond. Your heart and passion was truly exciting to see. It has energized our church like I haven’t seen in a long time. I pray for you, your family and travel mercies during your move. I look forward to serving along side you for many years to come.

We are transplanted New Englanders and love it here. We are in the older class of life. In NH we started an SBC churc in our home about 50 years ago. It truly is a mission field especially VT and NH. But we are excited to see what the Lord has for all of us here in WBBC. Can’t wait.
